WordPress and Figma Training At KPMAIWP
We’re excited to share that Tarsoft Academy was invited to conduct a two-day training session at Kolej Profesional MARA Wilayah Persekutuan (KPMAIWP), focusing on Figma and WordPress. This training aimed to introduce students to real-world tools used in the tech and design industry.
Through hands-on guidance, we helped participants explore how to design interfaces using Figma and turn those designs into websites with WordPress, giving them a glimpse into the creative and technical flow behind digital projects.
Figma
✨ Day 1 kicked off with Figma. A powerful design tool used by professionals to create website wireframes, mobile app layouts, and user interfaces.
We guided the students through:
The basics of Figma and UI/UX design
How to design a simple yet functional website layout
Hands-on exercises to turn ideas into real digital mockups
Learning how to make interactive prototypes to bring designs to life and simulate user flow
It was inspiring to see the creativity and enthusiasm from the students. What stood out most was how each student approached the challenge with their own perspective, proving that creativity isn’t limited by experience.
Wordpress
After a great start with Figma, Day 2 of our training at KPMAIWP focused on WordPress. One of the world’s most widely used platforms for building websites.

Introduction to WordPress
How to set up a basic website from scratch
Choosing and customizing themes
Adding pages, images, and contact forms
A light introduction to WooCommerce, the plugin that turns a website into an online store
Even though it was just a quick overview, many participants were excited to learn how WooCommerce could help them build e-commerce sites in the future!
