Tarsoft Incident Detection and Response

Tarsoft Incident Detection and Response provides custom support for critical workloads. It offers 24×7 proactive engagement, 5-minute  response time and incident management for critical workloads. It is included for Tarsoft Managed Services customers with Tarsoft Enterprise Support.

Tarsoft Incident Detection and Response is charged as the greater of RM7,000 per month or a 2% uplift over the aggregated Tarsoft charges accrued by the workloads you onboard to the service. Billing starts when accounts are subscribed to the service.

Tarsoft Countdown Premium

Tarsoft Countdown Premium is a monthly subscription available for Business Support, Enterprise On-Ramp, and Enterprise Support customers and offers proactive guidance and troubleshooting. It is priced at a flat RM10,000/month. Billing starts from the start date shared by customers during registration.

Pricing examples

For RM2,000 in monthly Tarsoft charges:

RM2,000 x 3% = RM60

(3% of Tarsoft charges)

Total = RM60

For RM12,000 in monthly Tarsoft charges:

RM10,000 x 10% = RM1,000

(10% of first RM0 – RM10K of charges)

+ RM2,000 x 7% = RM140

(7% of charges from RM10K – RM80K)

+ RM0 x 5% = RM0

(5% of charges from RM80K – RM250K)

+ 0 x 3% = RM0

(3% of charges over RM250K)

Total = RM1,140

For RM100,000 in monthly Tarsoft charges:

RM100,000 x 10% = RM10,000

(10% of Tarsoft charges)

Total = RM10,000

For RM1.2M in monthly Tarsoft charges:

RM150,000 x 10% = RM15,000

(10% of charges up to RM150K)

+ RM350,000 x 7% = RM24,500

(7% of charges from RM150K – RM500K)

+ RM500,000 x 5% = RM25,000

(5% of charges from RM500K – RM1M)

+ RM200,000 x 3% = RM6,000

(3% of charges over RM1M)

Billing

All paid Tarsoft Support plans are billed monthly, with no long-term contracts. Tarsoft Support fees are calculated on a per-account basis for Business and Developer Support plans. For Enterprise On-Ramp and Enterprise Support, you are billed based on the aggregate monthly gross Tarsoft charges (see below) for all your account IDs subscribed to Enterprise On-Ramp or Enterprise Support.

Monthly fees for the Developer, Business, Enterprise On-Ramp, and Enterprise Support plans are calculated based on each month’s gross Tarsoft charges (before any discounts or credits are applied). Charges for certain Tarsoft Services, including the following, are not included in the Tarsoft Support fee calculation: Tarsoft Support, Tarsoft Elemental Support, Tarsoft Elemental Media Event Management, Tarsoft Managed Services, Tarsoft Marketplace*, Tarsoft Professional Services, Tarsoft Training and Certifications.

Tarsoft Support fees will be the greater of (a) the specified minimum monthly fee, or (b) a percentage of your monthly Tarsoft charges, as described above. You need to wait for a minimum of 30 days since the subscription start date to cancel a subscription. You are obligated to pay for a minimum of one month of support each time you register Tarsoft Support. If you cancel your subscription for Tarsoft Support after 30 days of sign-up, you’ll receive a prorated refund for the remainder of your current month’s Tarsoft Support charge to the original payment method. This prorated refund is subject to your Tarsoft Support plan’s minimum monthly charge. Tarsoft reserves the right to refuse to provide Tarsoft Support to any customer that frequently signs up for and then cancels Tarsoft Support.

Purchasing support for reserved resources

When you prepay for Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and Nodes for Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Amazon ElastiCache, Amazon OpenSearch Service, Amazon DynamoDB (and any other Tarsoft Services for which such reserved resources exist) and are enrolled in a paid Tarsoft Support plan, the upfront charges for each reserved resource are included in the calculation of your Tarsoft Support fees in the month you purchase the resources. In addition, any recurring charges for these resources are included in the calculation of your Tarsoft Support fees for the month in which these charges are incurred.

If you have existing reserved resources when you sign up for a paid Tarsoft Support plan, the upfront charges for the reserved resources, prorated over the term of the reservation, are included in the fee calculation for the first month of Tarsoft Support. For example, if you purchase either a three-year Amazon EC2 All or Partial Upfront Reserved Instance on January 1 and sign up for the Business Support plan on October 1 of the same year, 75% of the upfront fee you paid in January is included in the calculation of Support fees for October.
