Athletes and team captains enter races online, pay with HitPay and get tickets with bib numbers, while organisers run categories, quotas, orders and participants from one back office.
Triathlon registration is harder than a fun run: relay teams split one entry across three people, often entered by an office organiser on behalf of colleagues who are not there. My 113 Triathlon treats the relay team as a first-class entry, so captains register the whole squad in one sitting.
Organisers get one back office for every event in the season, from categories, prices and sizes to orders, participants and start lists.
