This hands-on course helps beginners build, manage, and optimize a WordPress website from scratch — no prior coding or web development experience needed.
Participants learn WordPress installation and setup, theme and plugin management, page building with Elementor, content management, and how to keep a website secure, backed up, and optimized. By the end, participants have built a complete WordPress website, with dedicated build exercises throughout to reinforce each topic.

Installing and customizing themes, including layout settings, to shape a site's look and feel. Hands-on: install a theme and customize its layout.

How plugins extend WordPress, and how to install and manage them. Hands-on: install and configure plugins for a sample site.

Designing pages visually with Elementor — no code. Hands-on: build website pages using Elementor.

Creating and organizing pages and posts, and handling media. Hands-on: create blog posts and manage content and media.

SEO fundamentals for visibility, plus security best practices against common threats. Hands-on: apply SEO settings and security measures to a sample site.

07 Website Backup, Maintenance & Performance Optimization
Backing up, restoring, and maintaining a website, and applying performance techniques. Hands-on: perform a backup and restore, and apply optimization settings.

08 Hands-on Project: Build a Complete WordPress Website
Build a complete website from start to finish, then a final review and Q&A. Hands-on: build the full site and close with Q&A.
